October in the Harrison Library just got a little spooky! This month’s author we are celebrating, is R.L. Stine, famous for the Goosebumps series! Some of our Harrison students will also get to experience a virtual visit from the famous author, Mary Pope Osborne! She wrote The Magic Treehouse books! The most favorite week of the school year…. 2024 Harrison Lady Huskies Volleyball Team The teams record was 2-3 with some very close matches! The ladies played so well together this season and all have improved their skills greatly! The Lilly Center for Lakes and Streams has graciously set up another fish tank in our Library! This is our 4th year being able to enjoy watching the fish swim around and learn about them too! Yesterday we packed 103 bags of toiletries to send home in a few weeks to help kids over the summer! The Shamrock Shop continues to be utilized weekly, and we are so thankful to the people who donate clothing, toiletries, place Amazon wishlist orders, and stay after school to lend a hand. Harrison has a new club, "The Creative Leaders Club." This club is run by Mrs. Conley, Miss Castro, and Mrs. Stump. We meet every Wednesday. In this club, students are decorating Harrison's hallway with Leader in Me art work. The Riley Jamboree took place at Harrison on March 14th! 120 students stayed after school to participate in 6 teacher-led rotations. From camp songs and games, to STEM with Mr. Graney, board games, art projects, dodgeball, Mad Libs, and even dancing and pizza! With these awesome students and over 30 amazing staff members volunteering, we were able to raise $500 for Riley Children’s Hospital! Way to go Husky Family! #WCSmission #ExperienceWCS #leadership
